My siblings are citizens…But I’m not.
It used to get in the way when we were younger (I am undocumented and she was an international student) but she’s turned into an incredibly supportive older U.S. citizen sister now.
P.S. I’m totally using this video in class for a prompt about mixed status immigration families.
The story of my fucking life. It warms me that more of mi jente are voicing out about this immigrant experience, I thought I was the only one.
